The Palestinian singer Mohammed Assaf, winner of the TV talent contest Arab Idols, will perform in The Hague on Sunday the 29th of September. The special concert in The Hague's City Hall marks the first time that the artist performs outside of the Middle East and North Africa.

Mohammed Assaf gained widespread popularity throughout the world with his remarkable and inspiring story and performances of Arab classics, contemporary pop songs, as well as songs from traditional Palestinian folklore. Amid constantly unstable circumstances and conflicts in the Arab world, Assaf has been able to unite Palestinians' in a way that many political factions have not been able to before.
